In the fall we do some fun things. We Have a Halloween party and parade at Windsor. After school we go trick or treating and get a lot of candy. In the fall 4th grade goes to the grove. On Halloween night we see all the fun decorations like ghosts and spider webs with spiders on them. Also on Halloween you would see scary graves on peoples porches or front of your house. In fall the leaves change color they are so pretty when they change color. In the Fall if you have leafs in your front yard or backyard it’s so fun to play with them, especially when you make a leaf pile. Or you could make a huge pile tall enough to stand or you could make a bed there are so many ways to be creative with leaves. In the fall 1st grade you go to the police station and the fire station. The 5th grade goes to Camp Duncan. In fall we play in the leaves. We have so much fun making huge leave piles.
The third graders watched the weather change at the end of our weather unit. They are also excited about playing their recorders with Mrs. Zieman, writing personal narratives, learning multiplication facts, and cursive. Third grade is also blasting off in social studies to learn about where they are in the world. The 2nd graders walk to the library. The library is so much fun.

Coverage from the St. Baldrick's Event

Lots of people are getting hair extensions at the St. Baldrick’s event at Windsor. Mrs. Komarek is also getting a hair extension. Her best friends grandson has leukemia. He will be really happy, I think, when he sees a picture of Mrs. Komarek with a green hair extension.

These are photos from Saint Baldrick's here we have Tommy and Billy (photograph 1, Tommy Right, Billy Left) who want to save people lives and also do it for fun to raise money. Steven (photography 2 and 3) wants to save lives too. He's in first grade and has been doing it for the past three years. Kieran (not photographed) wants to support cancer and help people. He hopes he wins.

We think St. Baldrick's is a very worthy cause and it’s great to see many students, teachers, and families have starting the cause. Mr. Person: "I think is a great organization" Ms. Krueger: "I think is a great organization for little kids."
